Well today has been an absolutely rubbish day with the weather! Yesterday it was bright and sunny but today it's been wet, dark and gloomy. So what did I do to brighten up the day? Retail therapy of course! So here's just a little recap of what I bought and my first impressions!

British Vogue April - £4.10

This is my favourite magazine, I buy it every month and just sit and read it cover to cover. I love the fashion, the words and the photography. The photography in Vogue is the type I want to shoot in the future and I hope one day to have my pictures published.

Original Source Shower Gel - Orange and Cinnamon  - £1.15
I haven't tested this out yet, but I remember seeing it in one of FleurDeForce's video's, and I spotted it today and immediately fell in love with the scent. I am a huge lover of cinnamon anyway, and this just smells great and I cant wait to try it out!
Plus most (if not all) Original Source shower Gel's are half price at Boots, so grab them while they're cheap!

Nivea Lip Butter - Raspberry Rosé - £2.25

I'm a little late trying these, because I'm pretty sure they've been in the UK for a while now, but I saw them in Boots in the "3 for 2" offer so I thought I'd try them out. They come in four flavours; Plain, Vanilla, Creme Caramel and Raspberry Rosé.
I was exited to try the three flavoured ones but unfortunately  someone had stuck their fingers in the vanilla one and the caramel one, so I just got the raspberry flavour, and I am so glad I did.
I tried it once I got out of the store, and the flavour is AMAZING, like seriously it just tastes like yoghurt, but in a really good way! The way it made my lips feel was great too, and I'll be sure to do a full review on it soon!

Vaseline - Original & Rosy Lips £1.99

Everyone knows what Vaseline is, but I've been suffering with dry lips for a while now, so I thought that Vaseline might be a good solution  I am yet to try it out but I'm sure, as it's such a big brand it'll be sure to bring some moisture back!
These are also in the "3 for 2" offer at Boots (why I bought two not just one.)

Okay so that's all I bought today, and everything I bought is linked in the titles, so if you want to buy anything that I bought be sure to click the links! If any of you guys have tried these products and like or dislike them be sure to let me know!

Now I know it can be very overwhelming going into a LUSH store for the first time, even now I pop into LUSH time to time and I still get dazed by all the products, old and new. One thing I can say is that the staff are literally the nicest people ever, they know what the products are and what they can do for your skin and whether it's the right product (it's always nice to find staff that know what they are talking about isn't it?)
Anyway; enough about LUSH lets get down to my first review and that is Ocean Salt by LUSH.

Ocean Salt is a beautiful product, with a kind of sour lime scent, it also has a creamy undertone that I am yet to work out. It also has coconut oil in it which just leaves my face feeling super smooth. It is named as a facial scrub but it's perfect for scrubbing your body. Ladies, this is great for using before you shave your legs (or so I have heard), and for men, it's great for keeping ingrowing hairs at bay, which is always good! I think it's one of the essentials in a men's skin care routine.

The pot starts out blue, and has lots of big salt crystals at the top and when you first get it you should mix it up with something so it all mixes in (a big bunch of course sea salt isn't the best feeling, as I found out!) Once mixed in it turns a kind of very very pale blue/cream colour, but the blue at the beginning (as shown in the image that I stole from the LUSH website) is so inviting, that mixed with the smell just feels like you're going to dive into a big pool in the Caribbean somewhere! Also it has a small bit of vodka in it, which makes it seem a bit naughty, but it's all part of the experience.

The product itself is amazing, it clears all blackheads from my face, leaves my face feeling soft and radiant, and has really helped keep my spots under control! Contrary to the colour it doesn't turn your face blue, it just leaves your face and body glowing.  Also with some face and body scrubs that contain oils, they can leave a residue on my body and leaving me feel greasy, but with this I feel that some of the oils soak in, but the rest disappears when I wash it off and is just amazing. One bad thing I have to say about it is that it stings, badly if it get's into a cut or a recently popped spot, so beware!

Overall this is an amazing product and I highly recommend it to everyone!
Has anyone tried this? What do you think?

Okay so you probably don't know that I'm turning into a complete LUSH addict. For those of you who don't know what LUSH is its a fantastic shop full off amazing soaps, bath bombs, bubble bars, face scrubs, just everything to make you feel wonderful. It's a worldwide franchise and I can see why. I discovered LUSH just after Christmas coming home from my dads house in Cornwall. I had some time before my train back to my home town so I popped into the Liverpool Street branch; it wasn't very big but had an excellent product range and brilliant customer service. I explained to the lady that I get the odd spot and I have quite oily skin and she recommended Herbalism. I was put off my its texture and look (its bogey green and looked like mould) but after she demonstrated on my hand I could see why she did recommend it to me.
Ever since then I have been in love with LUSH and am slowly beginning to build up a collection of the products they sell. I really look forward to testing out more of their products and telling you how I get on with them!

The first thing I will say is that, I am no writer, I got a C in GCSE English and I'm sure I just scraped that; nevertheless I have decided to start a blog. I have been watching and reading many beauty videos and blogs and they look a lot of fun. I probably won't make videos but I will keep this blog updated with posts, reviews, fashion, opinions and just small factoids about my life.

If you would like an insight to my life and the things, people and everything I love then keep your eyes peeled for new posts! I'd love for you to stick around and see what the future holds for me!

I suppose this will be sort of like a journal, full of memories for me to look back on in the future and laugh, be happy and just remember all the good things I have in my life right now!
